UNIQUE NEW SERVICE
This
new service was borne from various requests made by successful bird breeders
wanting to promote, or simply capture as a family legacy, their impressive
breeding facilities in a professional manner. Like a wedding video you
have your own PRIVATE COLLECTION DVD
/ video made of your own special collection of exotic birds or bird farm.
Each DVD production takes approximately 6 to 12 months to make. Costs
include: Research, Scriptwriting, Filming, Lighting, Editing, Voice narration,
Packaging and Music design. Costs are determined according to the scale,
country, locality and complexity of the film and editing work required.
Eelco Meyjes, who is the filmmaker, spent 30 years in the advertising
industry working in senior management positions for some of the world's
leading Advertising agencies . During his career in advertising he successfully
worked on brands such as Mercedes-Benz, Continental Tyres, Engen, Lancôme
Cosmetics, Colgate Palmolive, Danone and White Horse whiskey etc.
Eelco who has had an avid interest in wildlife and photography ever since
he was a young boy, has been a birdkeeper and breeder for 15 years. And,
in the past 10 years has produced the internationally acclaimed DVD series
Birdkeeping the South African way. In more recent years he has
also produced the THREATENED WITH EXTINCTION dvd series on those threatened
bird species that desperately need conservation help.
From Crocodiles to Show Budgies they have all been filmed by Eelco
Meyjes. Each species is well researched prior to commencement with filmwork
and editing.
